Visiting friend Lil designed these cards with chalks, bling and embossing folders. They came out beautiful!

Ahoy Pirate
I was going to wait until we had made some more kid's cards but I wanted to get this one posted because I loved it so much. Robbie did a great job with her pirate paper doll adorned with jewels and brads.

More Birthdays
A couple more birthday cards. The first I made for my daughter patterned after one I saw on Pinterest. It uses the Cuttlebug "With Love" embossing folder with some patterned paper for the background. The second is a birthday card that Marti's 7 year old grandaughter made for her grandfather's 60th birthday. She is quite a good scrapbooker and card maker! The grandfather is a huge baseball fan!

Happy Birthday
A couple of unique Happy Birthday cards using the Happy Birthday embossing folders, some charms and various punches. One was for a Firefighter and one was for my grandaughter's 16th birthday. She plans to be a marine biologist and is in love with anything aquatic. I used a whale charm on the outside and a seahorse charm inside. Sorry that the inside picture isn't very clear.

50th Anniversary
Marti whipped up a beautful 50th anniversary card today. Ok so she cut the squares on her Silhouette but at least they were all even! lol Each was embossed differently and then pieced with gold mat. Heart was also cut on Silhouette and embossed. I think it's beautiful!

Sesame Street Tags
I saw this Cookie Monster card idea on Pinterest and knew I had to do it. Since I am in the mood to make tags, I decided to do both Cookie Monster and Elmo child gift tags. Used a 2 1/4" Scalloped Circle punch for outer layers, 1 3/4" circle punch for the inside and mouths(which were cut in half our quarter depending which character they were). The eyes are .75 and .50inch circles which I cut on the Silhouette. Elmo's nose is a large teardrop shape cut from the Silhouette. Inside I stamped "To and From". I punched and cut all of the pieces to make 12 of each, then constructed them in about 2 hours time. They just make me smile and I am sure will bring a smile to the children who get them too!

Beautiful Fast Cards
My daughter needed to whip up some cards so she came over yesterday to put some together. Using some nice designs downloaded and cut with my Silhouette, she made 12 beautiful cards that she can use for various occasions. The sailboat card uses the "Burlap" Tim Holtz embossing folder for the background. The "tropical flowers" embossing folder is by Crafts-Too The ice cream cone background is from the Tim Holtz collection and called "Swirls". Various other embossing folders were used for each layer of ice cream and the cone.
